Quidax maintains its own transaction monitoring programme covering API activity across all Business partner integrations. This includes automated screening of transaction patterns, on-chain analytics, and periodic review of partner account activity. Where our monitoring identifies potentially suspicious activity originating from a partner integration, we will investigate and may:
- Contact you to request information about specific transactions or users
- Place a temporary hold on affected transactions pending investigation
- Report activity to relevant authorities as required by law
- Suspend or terminate your API access if the risk cannot be adequately mitigated
- This monitoring is not a substitute for your own compliance obligations. It is an additional layer of protection for both Quidax and the integrity of the ecosystem.
Staying Current
Crypto regulation in Nigeria and across Africa is evolving. Quidax will communicate material changes to our compliance requirements to Business partners via your registered email address and through your Merchant Success manager. It is your responsibility to ensure that your team is aware of and acting on these updates. Where regulatory changes require modifications to your integration or onboarding flow, we will provide reasonable notice and implementation guidance.
